I am selling my 2001 Mercedes-Benz CL500 finished in stunning Brilliant Silver Metallic over Charcoal hides. This car cost over $92,000 new and can now be yours for a fraction of the original price. It has covered 142,000 miles which we all know is barely broken in for a Mercedes. The paint on my car is as smooth as glass and shines like a mirror. It has that "soft" feel as you run your hand over it just like a new car in the showroom. My car runs and drives beautifully. The engine is smooth as silk and the transmission shifts perfectly. I would not hesitate to drive it cross country tomorrow. The heat is hot and the air is ICE COLD. If you are looking for a Mercedes of this era the CL500 is the best choice because most of the body is aluminum or sheet molded compound (plastic) so they don't rust. This car is a true hardtop, when you roll the front and back windows down there is no post just like a 57 Chevy! This car is loaded with unique features: -Factory drilled brake rotors -Navigation system -Xenon headlights -Heated/ cooled seats -Soft close doors and trunk (they electrically pull themselves shut) -Sunroof -Steering wheel controls for everything -Power seats and power headrests w/memory (even a power rear view mirror) -ABC suspension that can raise and lower the car with a sport mode that only allows 4% body roll -Power rear sunshade -Power folding rear headrests -It has aftermarket very lightly tinted windows Recent Service: -New windshield ...this is kind of nice without any chips or sandblasting -Brand new ultra high performance tires!!! -New conductor plate in the transmission (obviously the fluid was flushed at this time and a new filter and gasket installed) -New TCU seal and connector -Rebuilt instrument cluster with warranty (they will all need this eventually, mine is already done) -New battery -New expensive Mercedes floor mats I have addressed all of the common issues with this car so you won't have to. I have tried to make it perfect. I even swapped out the interior for a more mint condition one. In doing so I made the mistake of not switching the seat modules triggering the SRS light. The correct modules are now in the car but you will have to have a shop with the Mercedes Star diagnostic tool shut it off for you next time you have the car serviced. I was going to put the car out at $7000 firm but for this inconvience I am putting it out for $6500.00 FIRM.
